Long ago, two races ruled over Earth: HUMANS and MONSTERS. One day, war broke out between the two races. After a long and grueling battle, the humans were victorious. They sealed the monsters underground with a magic spell, leaving them to rot in the shadows of Mt. Ebott.

This was all part of your history class, a story told to children to keep them away from the mountain's edge. But for Kieran and Lyria, history has become a terrifying reality. There are multiple monster kingdoms beneath the earth, and they do not welcome visitors. Most will attack any human on sight, fueled by centuries of resentment and distrust.

The Bond: Two Souls, One Survival

In UnderTwined, the journey is not taken alone. You play as a pair of twins who have fallen into a kingdom of banished monsters. They share more than just a last name; they share a heartbeat. This connection is their greatest strength and their most dangerous vulnerability. You have no way to climb back out: you can only move forward into the unknown.

The Protagonists

KIERAN: THE BRAVE Kieran is the older twin, defined by her loud personality and bold spirit. Her SOUL shines with the power of BRAVERY. She is the shield of the pair, fiercely protective of her younger sister. When the path beneath their feet begins to crumble and the shadows grow long, Kieran is the one who steps forward first. She refuses to let fear dictate their end.

LYRIA: THE PATIENT Lyria is the younger twin, the quiet observer who finds the truth in the details Kieran often misses. Her SOUL carries the essence of PATIENCE. While Kieran is the force that moves them forward, Lyria is the anchor that holds the world still. She waits for the perfect moment to act, seeing the patterns in the monsters' attacks and the secrets hidden in the walls of the Underground.
